    2. Overview

    3. Safety Requirements

    4. Testing

The test pressure is 1.25 times the design maximum working pressure. Under the test pressure should be observed for 10-30 minutes. No drop in pressure, the appearance of no deformation, no water, no rupture were qualified. Test water must be clean and free of grease. After the end of the strength test, the water should be blown dry so as to avoid corrosion. The strength test can also be done with the warm water overload pressure test to eliminate the welding residual stress. Strength test can also be done with nitrogen or without Shan air. The test pressure is 1.15 times the design maximum working pressure.


    2) air tightness test. After the strength test, with air or oil-free air at the design of the maximum working pressure for air tightness test. At the same time with a fat-free soapy water leaks to check the tightness of the tank. 24 hour leak rate is less than 5% for qualified. After the airtight test is passed, the tank should be blown with oil-free air or nitrogen. Wipe with a white cloth, do not see water, impurities so far.
